Nintendo Land game review
« on: July 31, 2013, 12:38:31 am »
Difficulty: Just Right!
Rating: E10
Release date (USA): November 30, 2012
Time Spent: 120+
Bottom Line: "If you have a Wii U get it, if not buy a Wii U and get it."

I loved this game, I do not own a Wii U however my brother does.

Pretty much you start the game in a theme park called "Nintendo Land" which you own. You meet your guide-like robot named Monita, who tells you the basics. When you win a mini-game you get coins and you jump to this one place to redeem your coins for decorations for Nintendo Land. You can also use your main mii and connect with Mii-verse where other Miis are in your park with there message. The mini-games are very fun. Most are 2+ players games, because the more the merrier! However some are 1 player only. My personal favorite mini-game is "Luigi's Ghost mansion" a mini-game modeled after "Luigi's Mansion". You play as your Miis who dress up as Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi and try to capture the ghost, which is the player with the gamepad. There is also Pikmin Adventure which evil Monita attacks the Pikmin world, you then dress up as Pikmin (The player with the gamepad is Olimar who directs the pikmin) and you defeat enemies and solve tough puzzles with team work. Then there is Mario Chase! A game where Mario runs away from toads and the toads try to catch him. That is a great one as well. There is Animal Crossing Sweet day, I game were you eat as much candy as you can and get fat. And the gatekeepers chase you and try to make you lose your candy. That one isn't as fun as others. One of my other favorites is Donkey Kong's Crash Course, you solve puzzles and navigate by tilting the gamepad left and right. That game however is one player only. I do enjoy Yoshi's Fruit Cart, you trace around to get to the flag with all the fruit, but the fruit and flag is hidden on the Gamepad. Octopus dance is an eh...Not so great one. You follow the Diver's Moves and one wrong move and you get sucked up into the octopus. The legend of Zelda Battle Quest is another Increidble Mini-Game. You defeat Ganon's army. You dress uup as link and hold a Bow and arrow and shoot them with an arrow. Metroid Blast is yet another fun game, you dress up like Samus Aran and fight Metroids. Its more like the original game. Next is Balloon Trip Breeze where you are a balloon flighter and you see how long you can fly. Another great one is Takamaru's Ninja Castle where you shoot shurikens at enemies who happen to be Ninjas. Next mini-game is Captain Falcon Twister race where you race with Captain Falcon. The player avoids different obstacles by moving the game-pad left and right. Overall I really love this game. Its a great game.

They should make a real life theme park based upon the game!  :D

What rides would you like in it?  I'd want a place based upon Pinna Park from Super Mario Sunshine.

Much more!
